How we compile our content
App profiles are compiled from publicly available sources, primarily the official Google Play and Apple App Store listings for each application. From those listings we record the publisher, price and in-app purchase structure, category, and the date on which we last checked it. Where a page states a date, that date is the date we last compared the page against the official listing.
We do not claim to have tested every app we write about. Where a page reflects hands-on use, it says so explicitly. Where information comes from the official store listing, the page says that too. If the official listing does not state something, we do not present it as fact; where a detail is uncertain or changes frequently, we say so rather than guess.
Our editorial standards
- We attribute factual claims about an app to the official store listing or to the developer’s own documentation.
- We separate what the developer states from what we have observed ourselves, and we label which is which.
- We do not publish a specific version number, price or feature list unless it was current when we last checked.
- When we are unsure, we say we are unsure. We do not fill gaps with guesses written as if they were facts.
- When we get something wrong, we correct it and note the correction rather than quietly deleting the page.
What we do not do
- We do not host, mirror or link to modified, patched, cracked or otherwise altered copies of any application.
- Every download link on this site points to the official Google Play or Apple App Store listing. We do not host APK files and we do not link to third-party app stores.
- We do not publish paid reviews or sponsored rankings. No developer can pay to change what we write, and no advertiser has any influence over which apps we cover or what we say about them.
- We do not collect personal information through this website. We have no user accounts and no login.
How we are funded
